Examples

Copy-paste examples in cURL, Python and JavaScript. Replace YOUR_API_KEY with a key from the dashboard.

Basic fetch

The smallest possible request — one URL, defaults for everything else.

cURL
curl -X POST https://livewebdata.com/api/v1/contents \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
  "urls": [
    "https://example.com/article"
  ]
}'

Geotargeting

Fetch a page as seen from Japan.

cURL
curl -X POST https://livewebdata.com/api/v1/contents \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
  "urls": [
    "https://example.com/pricing"
  ],
  "countryCode": "jp"
}'

Text limits

Return at most 5,000 characters of the full page body, including navigation and footer.

cURL
curl -X POST https://livewebdata.com/api/v1/contents \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
  "urls": [
    "https://example.com/docs/getting-started"
  ],
  "text": {
    "maxCharacters": 5000,
    "verbosity": "full"
  }
}'

Several URLs

Fetch up to 10 pages in one request. Each URL gets its own status; only successful pages cost credits.

cURL
curl -X POST https://livewebdata.com/api/v1/contents \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
  "urls": [
    "https://example.com/a",
    "https://example.com/b",
    "https://example.com/blocked"
  ]
}'
